Science education policy-making: eleven emerging issues (Peter Fensham] (AIAE, 08.10.2008):
The strong concern about the state of science and technology education worldwide is meanwhile expressed in several official documents. The quality of school education in science and technology has never before been of such critical importance to governments. Peter Fensham formulates three imperatives for its critical importance.

ROCARD-Report on Science Education (AIAE, 21.02.2008):
This report was elaborated through an European expert group leaded by Michel Rocard (former Prime Minister of France). The objectives of this report are, therefore, specifically to:
- Analyse a selection of the ongoing collaborative science education initiatives within the EU in order to identify effective and innovative techniques that show potential for increasing interest towards science and which could be used as models for future policies;
- Draw from this analysis a reduced set of concrete policy recommendations that would ensure that their experience is used, valorised and disseminated across Europe.

School/University Partnership Program (AIAE, 18.10.2006): School/University Partnerships works with school districts and elementary, middle and high schools to increase access to the University of California and other colleges and universities for students who have not traditionally been eligible for UC or CSU.
